In recent years, Mads has pursued a hobby as a painter to express himself artistically in a different arena. His style and technique have developed rapidly and he has had several exhibitions in Norway, Sweden and Portugal.

Mads has a studio in his garage and calls a large part of his production "garage art." Birds usually appear in his pictures in one form or another.

Mads has a fondness for the heroes he has in his life and has a series of portraits of them that he calls "The Hero Project." Below is a picture of Diego Armando Maradona.

A newly developed trademark is that Mads always paints when he is on tour as an opera singer and paints pictures inspired by the opera he is in. Below is the painting "Questo mar rosso" from La Boheme 2021. The painting was used in the performance as the painting Marcello paints at the beginning of the piece.

Mads is also developing an NFT if anyone wants to invest in one. Below is the NFT "Lisa who?"
